In the context of my doctoral thesis i investigate ways of decentralized agv controlling. One of the most important questions in this topic is the conflict free routing of the vehicles. The state of the art to solve this problem is based on free time windows. To use this technique the vehicles have to reserve ways they plan to use for the time interval they plan use them. While planning they respect the reservations made by other vehicles which lead to conflict free plans. In this technique reservations were never taken back once they made. This could have a negative impact on the global system performance.

In my doctoral thesis I want to investigate if negotiations could improve this technique. Negotiations here mean that reservations can be taken back if this would have a possible effect on the global system performance.

During my visit at Madrid I want to discuss possible negotiation and agreement strategies which could fit to the described situation. The working group of Prof. Sascha Ossowski has a broad experience in the field of negotiations in transport-related research questions which is the reason for my desired visit
