Description:
We are going to look at models of human behaviour that can be used in analysis of information security. Methods for such analysis come from e.g. game theory. Unfortunately, game-theoretic methods assume that a model of the game is given - in particular, preferences of all players are known. Social simulation can provide a methodology for obtaining an appropriate approximation of game models. We will also look at the gap between predictions offered by game-theoretic analysis and behaviours observed in reality, and try to estimate its impact on security of IT systems.
