Argumentation and web-mining.

The main goal of the working plan is the study of suitable methodologies and techniques for aggregating pieces of evidence of users` web interactions.

Actions such as clicking, scrolling, mouse movements over Web content, form a pattern of interaction that can be mined for various purposes. This pattern objectively represent the user`s behaviour over a web-page. and can be used, for instance, for identifing malicious users (Computational Trust) or predict their interests (Reputation/recommendation systems).

However, aggregating all these actions towards a meaningful index  is not a trivial task. Argumentation theories and non-monotonic reasoning strategies may represent a useful paradigm worthy investigating in this context.
